Cancellation and Refund Policy for Alternative Relationship Coaching

At Alternative Relationship Coaching, we are committed to providing flexible and supportive services to meet your relationship coaching needs. This policy outlines the procedures for cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds in compliance with UK consumer laws.

1. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Client Cancellations:
    If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will result in a full charge for the session, unless otherwise agreed. This applies to all types of coaching.

  • Coach Cancellations:
    If the coach needs to cancel or reschedule a session, you will be notified as soon as possible, and an alternative time will be arranged.

 

2. Refunds for Blocks of Sessions (5 or 10 Sessions)

  • Up-Front Payment:
    If you have purchased a block of 5 or 10 coaching sessions and wish to cancel before the block is completed, refunds will be pro-rated based on the number of sessions already attended, calculated at the price for these sessions if booked individually. The unused portion of the block will be refunded, minus a 15% administrative fee and any other payment fees incurred.

  • Unused Sessions:
    Any sessions from the block that are not used within 6 months (for blocks of 5) or 12 months (for blocks of 10) of purchase will expire, unless previously agreed otherwise. Expired sessions will not be refunded.

 

3. Refunds for Programmes

  • Pre-Paid:
    If a client chooses to cancel the programme after the 14-day cooling-off period, no refunds will be given for any sessions or services already provided. Refunds for unused services may be issued at the coach’s discretion and will be calculated on a pro-rated basis for any remaining undelivered services.

  • Payment Plans:
    Clients on a payment plan who choose to cancel the programme after the 14-day cooling-off period will be liable for any outstanding payments due for services rendered up to the point of cancellation. Refunds for unused services may be issued at the coach’s discretion and will be calculated on a pro-rated basis for any remaining undelivered services.

Please note, a 15% administrative fee and any other payment fees incurred will be applied to all refunds.

4. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the coaching relationship at any time. If you choose to discontinue coaching, please provide at least one session’s notice to allow for a proper conclusion of the process. All outstanding fees must be settled before the termination of services. Termination does not affect the confidentiality of any prior sessions, including communications via Telegram, telephone, or video calls.

5. No Refunds for Completed Services

Once a coaching session or block of sessions has been completed, no refunds will be issued for those services. Completed services are considered fully rendered and non-refundable.

6. Legal Rights under UK Law

This Cancellation and Refund Policy complies with UK consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period for any services purchased online. During this time, you can cancel your contract and receive a full refund. However, if you request that the service begins within the 14-day cooling-off period, you will be charged for any sessions or services provided during this time.
